ERMA FIRST and Pritchard-Gordon Tankers (Newcastle UK) have signed a contract to kick-start cooperation in the installation of ERMA FIRST Ballast Water Treatment Systems (BWTS) on Pritchard Gordon’s existing vessels. 4 Chemical Carriers will be retrofitted with ERMA FIRST BWTS FIT 400 m3/h, including a full engineering package (3D laser scanning, engineering study, etc.).
The first installations are scheduled for the coming years, whereas the last delivery in 2020, while the first 3D Laser scanning is planned before the end of 2016.
A representative from Pritchard-Gordon Tankers explained:
“Our main purpose is to establish positive outcomes in communication and cooperation with ERMA FIRST as well as to ensure that our vessels will carry ERMA FIRST BWTS onboard in time and fully meet all related requirements of IMO and USCG.”
Mr. Leif Erik Caspersen, ERMA FIRST International Sales Manager stated:

Finally yet importantly, the representative from Pritchard-Gordon claimed:
