EMSA has broadened pollution response in the Mediterranean Sea through the conclusion of an improvement project with the contractor Petronav.
The project saw the installation of a state-of-the-art spraying system on board the contracted vessel Alexandria, based in Limassol (Cyprus).
The increased “weather window” for the use of dispersants makes this new response system a highly suitable complement to the existing mechanical recovery capabilities of the Alexandria.
