The new release provides a more user friendly and robust service
A new release of the Integrated Maritime Data Environment platform was made available on 22 July to member state authorities and European bodies and institutions using EMSAs integrated maritime services.
The highlights of this new release are:
- a new design, look and feel, and improved layout of the web interface
- integration of meteorological and oceanic data (remote sensing, in-situ information and forecast); integration of SafeSeaNet data (voyage information and presence of dangerous and polluting goods)
- improvements to the services provided to Frontex and the European Fisheries Control Agency
- additional enhancements, including some technical improvements.
In short, this new release provides a more user friendly and robust service with additional information layers. Positive feedback is already being received from several end users.
