Jawaid Khan, captain of the MV Albedo hijacked off Somalia in November 2010, gives a chilling account of how the pirates murdered one of his crew when the ship’s owner didn’t meet their demands. Several pirates with guns shot the 19-year-old-who was at sea for the first time-in the heart at close range.
