Sebastian Kempka

Sebastian is a Senior Risk Consultant at Marine Risk Service at KA Köln.Assekuranz Agentur GmbH, bringing a wealth of expertise to the table. With a background in Nautical Science from the University of Applied Science Bremen/Germany, he has practical experience gained from his time on container vessels. Sebastian's involvement extends beyond the sea, as he serves as a visiting lecturer for Project Cargo & Heavy Lift in International Studies Ship Management and Nautical Science in Bremen. His dedication to safety is evident through his certification as a Fire Risk Manager according to CFPA (Confederation of Fire Protection Associations Europe) standards and his membership in a voluntary fire brigade. Additionally, Sebastian contributes to shaping industry standards and practices as a member of the GDV Marine Loss Prevention Committee.
