Ioanna Kafka

Ioanna Kafka is a Naval Architect and Marine Engineer with a MEng degree from National Technical University of Athens (NTUA) and a MSc degree in Technical Ship Management from Strathclyde University, Glasgow. She has held positions as Naval Architect Consultant in London, Southampton, Singapore and she has also worked as Marine Surveyor in Piraeus, undertaking engineering consultancy, design and analysis as well as onboard surveys worldwide for condition surveys and marine casualties, representing H&M and P&I insurers internationally. Currently, in her current role she works as a Senior Claims Executive at The Swedish Club, Greece dealing with marine claims handling and adjusting for all types of H&M claims. She has also recently qualified as a Senior Associate of the Association of Average Adjusters (AAA).
