Novatek, the largest, independent, Russian natural gas producer and LNG operator, accomplished the 10 million tonnes of LNG that was produced at the Yamal LNG facility since December 2017. The operator reported that the milestone cargo number 136 was offloaded onto the Arc7 ice-class tanker Vladimir Vize.
Specifically, Yamal LNG is building a 17.4 mtps natural gas liquefaction plants, embodied of 3 LNG trains of 5.5 mtpa each and 1 LNG train of 900 thousand tonnes per annum.
Moreover, the Yamal LNG uses hydrocarbon resources of the South-Tambeyskoye field in the Russian Arctic.

Additionally, the first LNG Train began production in the Q4 of 2017, and Trains 2 and 3 in July and November of 2018, respectively.
Besides Novatek, Yamal LNG’s shareholders include France’s Total, China’s CNPC and Silk Road Fund.
