The video, published by Muster Station, depicts the world’s five largest cruise ships to operate in 2019. Royal Caribbean’s ‘Symphony of the Seas’ is currently claiming the title of the world’s largest cruise ship, with a capacity of 6, 780 passengers and long as 3,9 Statues of Liberty.
The four ships completing the list are Harmony of the Seas, Oasis of the Seas (along with her sister ship Allure of the Seas), Costa Smeralda and AIDAnova, the world’s first LNG-fueled cruise ship.
The passenger capacity of these ships is equal to an estimated 39 commercial airplanes.
Cruise companies seem to maintain tendency over the years to launch bigger and bigger ships.
