A worker at the Port of Long Beach died in an accident on January 15, when he was was struck by a vehicle, authorities said.
The accident was reported about 3:45 p.m., with Long Beach Fire Department Capt. Jack Crabtree, saying that the person was hit by a vehicle.
However, he did not know what type of vehicle or the age of the victim.
The man was pronounced dead at the scene, according to Allison Gallagher, a spokesperson for the Long Beach Police Department.
