The Ro-ro cargo ship Lion A hit a pier at Iskenderun port, Turkey, on June 24, after suffering an engine failure.
Namely, while unmooring, Lion A suffered engine failure, which made the ship hit pier, causing damages on the pier, as well as to berthed.
After the incident, the ship was detained in order for a damages assessment and investigation to be carried out.
As for the ship, it only sustained minor damages.
