He also added that the authority’s plan for the rest of 2019 is to finalize the infrastructure work, that is needed in order for the port to be automation-ready.

The automation will include testing all the A-Strads and M-Strads on all the operations that will be necessary in automation operations.

Finally, the port's Northern Berth will be fully automated and operational by February 2020, with the rest of the terminal being manual.
