Wärtsilä, a Finnish technology company who manufactures and services power sources and other equipment in the marine and energy markets, suspends all deliveries and sales to Russia following the invasion of Ukraine.
The company has suspended deliveries along with new sales to Russian entities and is going to comply with all the currently imposed sanctions.
Wärtsilä has stopped its operations in Russia, including equipment training, to help bolster maritime commercial pressure on the country .
As part of this, training in the use of our ship engines/technology for Russian legal persons has been discontinued, regardless of the nationality of the persons

In the meantime, the EU has announced its next package of sanctions against Russia, following the invasion of Ukraine on February. This package includes the designation of 15 individuals and 9 entities that operate in the aviation, military and dual use, shipbuilding and machine building sectors.
Also, NATO and EU allies continue to make additions to the designated entities lists so all the members can ensure that they carry out careful examination and inspections using the updated lists.
