Norwegian LNG company, Höegh LNG, has released a video at its social media account depicting the launch of its eighth floating storage and regasification unit (FSRU) at the Hyundai Heavy Industries’ shipyard in Ulsan, South Korea, on March 17.
The FSRU has a regasification capacity of 750 MMscf/day and will be delivered within 2018.
The company also signed a new Shipbuilding Contract (SBC) with HHI, for a new (ninth) FSRU, with delivery schedule in 2018. This FSRU will have a storage capacity of 170,000 m3 and maximum regasification capacity of 1,000 MMscf/day.
