List indicates the most recently accepted SMFF core GSAs
USCG has issued a reminder regardingSalvage and Marine Firefighting (SMFF) core Geographic Specific Appendices GSAs).
Vessel owners and operators who are submitting the required SMFF regulatory updates to theirVessel Response Plans (VRPs) must reference the most recent version of their resourceprovider’s SMFF core GSA that is on file with the USCG. The below list indicates the mostrecently accepted SMFF core GSAs.

Tank vessel owner/operators (Types I-IV oil) are responsible for determining theadequacy of the salvage and marine firefighting resource providers included in the VRP,according to 33 CFR 155.4050. The USCG’s VRP SMFF core GSA update review does notrelieve the vessel owner/operator of the responsibility to select adequate resource providers
