The US Trade and Development Agency, in cooperation with LNG Allies, the 27th World Gas Conference, the U.S. Chamber of Commerce Global Energy Institute and other industry members, launched the U.S. Gas Infrastructure Exports Initiative.
This Initiative aims to connect American companies to new export opportunities across the gas value chain in emerging economies.
USTDA is expanding its partnership with the American gas industry to generate new LNG exports through the development of gas-related infrastructure in key LNG receiving countries, as part of US’s LNG export terminals launching.
USTDA called US companies to cooperate in gas-related project proposals.
Furthermore USTDA announced a number of upcoming gas sector reverse trade missions that will bring prospective overseas LNG buyers and gas infrastructure decision-makers to the United States for site visits and meetings with U.S. industry.
The upcoming visits will include delegations from Senegal, China, and other partner countries, according to USTDA.
“USTDA appreciates the opportunity to partner with U.S. industry to launch this important Initiative. We are confident that it will advance the gas infrastructure goals of our partner countries, while connecting U.S. companies to new export opportunities,” said USTDA Director (Acting) Thomas R. Hardy.
Finally, USTDA will use the full breadth of its toolkit to support American gas industry jobs such as early stage project preparation assistance that informs how infrastructure projects will ultimately be designed, financed and implemented, USTDA informed.
