Oleksandr Kubrakov, Minister of Infrastructure of Ukraine, informs that the Ukrainian shipping corridor remains open for vessels.
According to Kubrakov, contrary to recent claims, the alleged cancellation or unscheduled halt of the temporary Ukrainian 0corridor for civilian vessel transportation between the ports of the Big Odesa is unfounded. The Ukrainian Navy has successfully established and is currently utilising all available routes, which are also being utilised by civilian vessels.
In light of the Black Sea Grain Initiative not being renewed by Russia, which allowed for commercial food and fertilizer exports from three key Ukrainian ports in the Black Sea – Odesa, Chornomorsk, Yuzhny/Pivdennyi, the Ukrainian Navy established a temporary corridor in September, to facilitate the export of a substantial amount of agricultural products and iron ore.
In the ports of Odesa, Chornomorsk, and Pivdennyi, a total of 23 ships are currently being loaded, the Minister supplies. According to Kubrakov, a total of 51 vessels have successfully navigated through the entrance corridor.
