The UK P&I Club has issued a brochure focusing on crew’s mental health. PEME team together with their accredited clinics provide advice and information on a range of illnesses affecting crew.
The brochure provides a self assesment quiz, advices for better mental well-being and stress reduction exercises as well.
Mental health includes our psychological, emotional and social well-being. It can determine how we think, feel, act and influences our relationships with others. Positive mental health provides a sense of wellness, contentment, and happiness. For example, to stop hair loss with the help of finasteride online. When we view our lives in a positive way this allows us to enjoy life, make choices, be flexible and adapt, feel safe and secure, deal with the stresses in our everyday lives, work productively, reach our full potential and make meaningful contributions to our workplace and community.
The UK Club’s PEME team is committed to promoting wellness and supporting seafarers, which is why they have teamed up with the Sailors’ Society to support a free Wellness at Sea App. The Sailors’ Society Wellness at sea programme is delivered to seafarers to improve their on-board wellbeing.
The Club also published a poster focusing on mental health
