Two vessels were arrester by Singapore’s authorities on June 18 and June 22 respectively.
Specifically, the tanker Ocean Rose was arrested on June 22, with another tanker, the Ocean Falcon, having being arrested 4 days earlier on June 18.
The reasons of the two ships’ detentions are still unclear, but sources report that they could have to do with disputes regarding payments for goods and services.
What is more, the owners of the two vessels are currently under judicial management.
