The LNG major Shell partnered with Turcas Petrol and launched the first liquefied natural gas filling station in Turkey, commenting that it is an act representing the importance of achieving today’s environmental goals through sustainable methods.
Specifically, the LNG facility is located in Sapanca, on the Istanbul-Ankara highway that facilitates the highest volumes of international transport traffic.
The news was published in Turcas’ Petrol social media account, with the company highlighting that this step marks a new era for Turkey’s road transport offering a new alternative fuel for the segment.
