Read moreMokha port is now operational and safe The Swedish P&I Club has been informed by its Hodeidah Office based on the information received from Advisor of Chairman of the port authority that they have reopened the Mokha port on 11/09/2015 and the port is operational and safe.Also the Club has received updated information for more ports of Yemen as follows:Hodeidah port has been reopened & started the work for receiving the ships from 27/08/2015 at 11:30 am & all operations are working normaly & they has been received & berthed first ship MV. ORYX at berth no.4 & started discharging at 12:30 pm for the cargo Steel & Flour.Port of Aden management calls for all shipping agents, traders and other port users to start business. Water and electricity are still not available at Ma'alla and Steamer Point districts where the port of Aden is located.Regarding Ras Isa port Safer Marine Terminal is closed & not operational since two months.Currently there is one tug boat called "Ras Isa" temporary operational at the terminal port instead of tug boats of the terminal until reopening the port.FYI, SEPOC will not allow any vessel to berthing at safer marine terminal have no agreement signed ...
