Ocean Network Express (ONE) has broken the last reported world record for the largest amount of cargo ever stowed, on February 11, as it carried more than 19,100 TEU aboard the MOL Tribute. The new record load exceeds the record previously announced by Maersk at 19,038 TEU, achieved in August 2018. The MOL Tribute has a total capacity of 20,146 TEU.
World’s first LNG cruise ship, AIDAnova, has been successfully transferred to Eemshaven, Netherlands. The 180,000 tonne ship was transferred along the river Ems.
On October 8, AIDA Cruises’ newest ship AIDAnova departed the Meyer shipyard in Papenburg, Germany. In Eemshaven, AIDnova will undergo the final sea trials.
