Marlink will introduce a new hybrid communication service. Sealink Global 4G will enable fast, low-latency mobile services when in network range while complementing VSAT connectivity when in regulated regions. The Global VSAT Forum (GVF) and Intellian have launched an Intellian Specialist Certification programme, including an initial course in terminal operation, GVF 562N, specifically for seafarers. Follow-on courses, intended for field technicians, will cover stabilized platform installation and maintenance.
