The Marine Safety Center received its 30th application for type approval for the Guardian-US Ballast Water Management System manufactured by Hyde Marine Inc. as well as it 31st type approval for the HK-(E)R Ballast Water Management System manufactured by Miura Co., Ltd.

The Certificate was awarded after a USCG detailed review of the manufacturer’s type approval application determined the system met the requirements of 46 CFR 162.060.
