The first to receive BSH Flag State approval for its STCW conform ECDIS training Transas Marine GmbH is the first among all German training institutes to receive BSH Flag State approval for its STCW conform ECDIS training. It will support maritime schools in performing relevant training In response to still pressing piracy threat off the coast of Somaila, Transas has developed an Anti-Piracy solution that will support maritime schools in performing relevant training.The Transas Anti-Piracy package consists of a mothership, a smaller mothership and four fastboats with different speeds. The look of all vessels is typically 'pirate': badly maintained and rusty. Transas Marine Pacific ) in cooperation with PT MultiIntegra Transas Marine Pacific Pte Ltd (TMP) in cooperation with PT MultiIntegra (Transas Group distributor in Indonesia) have successfully accomplished two simulator projects in Indonesia. Merchant Marine Schools BP2IP Mauk Tangerang and BP2IP Aceh have extended their training capabilities by adding Engine Room Simulators and a Full Mission Ship Handling Simulator to existing training facilities. Both schools are a part of the Indonesian Ministry of Transportation's Education Training Agency.Under the contract BP2IP Tangerang Marine School acquired a new Engine Room Simulator. The Marine School BP2IP Aceh purchased an Engine Room Simulator, GMDSS simulator and a Full Mission Ship Handling Simulator with visualization incorporating seven channels. Each project is a turnkey project solution covering design, supply, installation, commissioning and training. For Bernard Schulte Shipmanagement fleet Transas Marine has been chosen by Telaccount Overseas Ltd. as a partner for ECDIS retrofit program for Bernard Schulte Shipmanagement (BSM).
