The 3rd SAFETY4SEA Manila Forum was a full day event that successfully took place on Tuesday 23rd of April 2024, at the Sofitel Philippine Plaza Manila, Philippines, where it became apparent that the maritime industry needs to foster an improved environment onboard and pay closer attention to its crucial workforce: our seafarers.

The maritime sector is evolving, creating opportunities for the younger generation to actively participate and fostering an environment that champions diversity, equality, and inclusiveness. During the last CAREER4SEA Forum, speakers of a dedicated panel discussed how the industry can meet the expectations of the young generations to attract, retain, and develop future crews.

SAFETY4SEA is pleased to announce the distinguished shortlisted nominees for this year’s Crew Welfare Awards, following an online nomination process, initiated a few months ahead of the 2024 Crew Welfare Week, a virtual event that will take place 25-27 June.

The 2024 GREEN4SEA Athens Forum successfully took place on Tuesday 2nd of April 2024 at the Lighthouse of Stavros Niarchos Foundation Cultural Center (SNFCC), Athens. The event focused on the various alternatives that the maritime industry explores in its ongoing efforts to reduce emissions, planning for a green and sustainable future.
