MOL develops virtual reality training

Mitsui O.S.K. Lines, Ltd. announced the development of a mariner safety education tool goggle, which uses virtual reality technology created by Tsumiki Seisaku Co. Ltd. The tool uses VR technology to reenact various training scenarios and work operations, offering a new level of realism and immersion.

Carnival extends support in fleet operations

Carnival Corporation announced that is expanding the Fleet Operations Centers with the opening of a new facility in Seattle, to provide real-time support for its fleet. The system captures thousands of data points and provides real-time analytics for 28 distinct parameters for navigational safety from each ship, aims to optimize efficiency and fleet performance.
