No-Deal Brexit will affect all Britain, report says

According to the Confederation of British Industry (CBI), all parts of Britain will experience economic difficulties in case of a No-Deal Brexit. Namely, if the UK leaves the EU without a deal, then it will suffer an economic loss which may last until 2034. The CBI noted that the North East of England region would receive the hardest hit, as it would lose 10.5% of its real gross value added.

Port of Port Hedland achieves record tonnage on a single tide

Pilbara Ports Authority reported a new record tonnage on a single tide at the Port of Hedland. Namely, on 15 January 2019, 10 vessels left the port in convoy carrying a total of 1,754,741 tonnes of bulk product, surpassing the previous record from December 2017 by 165,680 tonnes. Before that, an Expression of Interest has been completed for the building and operation of a new general cargo facility at the Port of Port Hedland.
