Port of Hamburg
As of end of February, Carnival Maritime collaborates with the Hamburg Vessel Coordination Center (HVCC) in order to optimally plan the movements of the AIDA and Costa cruise ships in the Port of Hamburg and the narrow river Elbe.
Port of Hamburg felt the effects of weakness in Chinese foreign trade plus the steep downturn in trade with Russia during the first nine months of the year.
The Costa Group has opened Carnival Maritime, a new digital support, surveillance and planning center to handle the technical and nautical management of the 25 vessels of Costa Crociere, Costa Asia and AIDA in real time.
