NORDEN announced a sustainable maritime fuel agreement with Meta aimed at advancing the decarbonisation of the maritime industry.

NORDEN has completed the acquisition of Norlat Shipping, a Nordic dry bulk operator specializing in the transportation of forest products and bulk commodities. 

Norden and Teck Resources Limited mining company announced they have signed an agreement to reduce CO2 emissions in Teck’s steelmaking coal supply chain. 

Norden announced it has acquired a minority stake in Mash Makes, a Danish-Indian biofuel scale-up, which researches, develops and produces renewable fuels from biomass waste.

NORDEN announced that it ordered six dry cargo vessels from Dalian COSCO KHI Ship Engineering Co., Ltd. (DACKS), a joint venture between COSCO Shipping and Kawasaki Heavy Industries, for delivery in the next two to three years. 

Together with 123Carbon and its partners, AllChiefs and Verifavia, NORDEN will begin to issue carbon inset tokens through 123Carbon’s platform to support the decarbonization of customer supply chains.

Last week, NORDEN issued a statement to announce that together with shipowner Spar Shipping AS, they recently bunkered approximately 1100 tonnes of biofuel at GoodFuels in Rotterdam used on two voyages bound for Asia and Africa respectively.  

The Danish shipping company, NORDEN continues its research into alternative green transport options with a test voyage using biofuel.

Danish shipping company Norden announced plans to boost decarbonization efforts and meet ambitious emission reduction targets, providing a CO2 neutral transportation. The efforts are focused on short and medium-term projects, to accelerate efforts in developing CO2 neutral transportation.

Norden, Danish shipping company, is expanding operations to Africa where it plans to open an office by the end of the year. The new location in Abidjan, Ivory Coast, will be the company’s eleventh office, joining those already established in the US, Brazil, Australia, China, Singapore and India.
