Under the sidelines of this year’s Global Marine Forum, which took place in Singapore 30-31 October, Heng Swee Keat, Singapore’s Deputy Prime Minister and Minister for Finance, announced the launch of ‘[email protected]’, country’s maritime single window system that aims to drive decarbonisation and digital transformation.
MPA Singapore has carried out a review, announcing that it extends port rebates, aiming to encourage growth in the vehicle transhipment business in Singapore. The scheme will be valid for another 3 years from 1 January 2020 till 31 December 2022.

MPA Singapore and Panama Maritime Authority inked a MoU to strengthen maritime relations on 19 September. The agreement is expected, among others, to facilitate vessels registered with either Panama or Singapore calling at each other’s ports with faster checks and clearances.
