The Hong Kong Marine Department published a notice advising operators on the amendment to the Merchant Shipping (Prevention of Air Pollution) Regulation for incorporating the latest requirements of MARPOL Annex VI. The Amendment Regulation will come into force on 31 May 2019. The new requirements will regard all Hong Kong registered ocean going vessels (OGVs), wherever they are and all OGVs within Hong Kong waters.
