Equinor awards contract to process Johan Sverdrup seismic data

Subsurface Imaging, part of CGG’s Geoscience division, has been awarded a contract by Equinor to process seismic data from the Johan Sverdrup Permanent Reservoir Monitoring system in the North Sea. A team of CGG processing experts, cooperating with Equinor, will deliver time-lapse 4D images to the Johan Sverdrup asset team within days of acquisition.

Pacific Drilling to digitally transform its rig fleet

Oceaneering International and Pacific Drilling signed a five-year Digital Services Package agreement to provide Pacific’s customers with improved throughput enabling streaming video and real-time data. This will provide emerging services like remote ROV piloting, surveying, and automation aboard Pacific Drilling’s high-specification drillship fleet.

New York awards contracts for offshore wind energy development

The New York State Energy and Research Development Authority announced the execution of two contracts to study the meteorological and oceanographic (metocean) conditions in the waters off the Atlantic coast of New York, called the New York Bight. The contracts were awarded to Ocean Tech Services and DNV GL. The target date for deployment of these systems is May 2019.
