Trescorp to construct oil terminal at Sohar port

Singapore-based Trescorp is to launch a new 45-hectare terminal in Sohar Port with an investment of USD600 million. The strategic location of Sohar, outside the Strait of Hormuz, but close to the Gulf States and the Indian subcontinent, was a key factor in the investment. 

Shell provides lubricants to world’s largest container ship

Orient Overseas Container Line has appointed Shell Marine to provide marine lubricants and services for OOCL Hong Kong, currently the world’s largest container ship, with a capacity of 21,413 TEUs, measuring 400m. The G-type engine design used in the ship requires close oil performance monitoring and technical support.

LUKOIL gets ready for the 2020 sulphur cap

Gazpromneft to triple supply of marine lubricants to Rosmorport

Gazpromneft-Lubricants signed a new three-year agreement with Rosmorport to supply marine lubricants, in order to support the fleet. The volume of supplied products by the end of 2019 is planned to be more than 1,500 tons of marine lubricants, that is three times higher than the scope of supply under the previous agreement.
