MAN Diesel & Turbo joins SEA\LNG coalition

SEA\LNG, the coalition aiming to accelerate the  adoption of LNG as a marine fuel, announced that it has added another member in its membership coalition: MAN Diesel & Turbo. SEA/LNG will try to leverage MAN’s focus in converting existing vessels to operate using LNG as a fuel.

New project expands Sund plant on Faroe Islands, reduces NOx

MAN Diesel & Turbo is to supply four-stroke engines will expand the existing “Sund” power plant near the capital Tórshavn and will run on Heavy Fuel Oil to generate both electrical power and heat for the district heating network on the island.
