Cameron LNG starts its first LNG production from Train 2

On 23 December, Sembra LNG subsidiary of Sempra Energy, officially announced that Cameron LNG has started producing its first LNG. Specifically the production came from its second liquefaction train of the export facility located in Hackberry, Louisiana.

First cargo from Freeport LNG Train 2 shipped

McDermott International, Inc. along with Chiyoda International Corporation and Zachry Group, announced that the first commissioning cargo of LNG has been shipped from Train 2 of the Freeport LNG project on Quintana Island in Freeport, Texas.

FERC allows Tellurian start its preparations for Driftwood

The U.S. energy regulator officially accepted Tellurian’s request to begin the site preparation work for its Driftwood liquefied natural gas (LNG) export project located in Louisiana. Specifically, the project’s value is estimated around $27.5 billion and is designed to produce 27.6 mtpa of LNG or about 3.6 bcfd of natural gas.

Tacoma LNG project gets final permit

Puget Sound Energy’s Tacoma LNG storage and fueling terminal announced that has passed through a review from Puget Sound Clean Air Agency. Specifically, as the Agency informed, the review was based on the facility’s notice of construction application, including public comments. 

Yamal LNG completes delivery of all Arc7 ice-class tankers

In fact, Yamal LNG announced the operational start of its new Arc7 ice-class LNG tanker Yakov Gakkel- the fifteenth and final of the Arc7 ice-class tankers built specifically for the Yamal LNG Project, according to a recent statement. Namely, the “Yakov Gakkel” has loaded the 354th LNG cargo in the port of Sabetta and is now set to China.
