Installation of LNG tanks at Finland’s Raahe LNG terminal

The video shows transport of two LNG storage tanks to an LNG satellite terminal to Raahe, in northern Finland at the end of November 2017. The local utility, Raahen Voima, will utilise the LNG to replace the use of LPG for generating power and heat to its’ major consumer, a local SSAB steel mill.

Wärtsilä’s Manga LNG import terminal in Röyttä Harbor, Tornio, in Northern Finland, achieved a significant milestone on 27 November with the successful unloading of the first shipment of LNG. The shipment, comprising 15,000 cubic metres of LNG, arrived eight days ago onboard ‘Coral Energy”.

Shore-side LNG storage tanks ready to work at Jaxport

The video depicts how contractors at Jaxport, port of Jacksonville, have securely fastened two, 260-ton cryogenic liquefied natural gas storage tanks onto their foundations at Crowley Maritime Corporation’s new shore-side fueling facility on Talleyrand Marine Terminal.

Bunkering operations at Dunkirk LNG terminal

Video shows the operations process at the bunkering facility operated by Dunkerque LNG. The terminal has an annual regasification capacity of 13 billion cubic meters of gas and is able to receive up to 150 LNG carriers annually.

First alternative energy hub with LNG scheduled for Antwerp

ENGIE has announced that it has signed a 30-year concession agreement with the Antwerp Port Authority for the development of an alternative energy hub at quays 526 and 528 at the port. The concession will take effect on 1 October 2016, and the hub’s first phase will commence operations by late 2017
