Following India's ban on single use plastic from onboard vessels, the Liberian Maritime Authority reminds all Liberia-flagged vessels sailing to India of what to keep in mind, from which single use plastics are acceptable, to the importance of implementing a Ship Execution Plan (SEP).

Liberia provided guidance, in the form of Questions and Answers, to help Shipowners, Operators, Masters and Recognized Organizations that may be experiencing difficulty in conducting operations, due to the new coronavirus.

The US Coast Guard has included the Liberian flag in its QUALSHIP 21 (QS21) roster for 2019-2020. QS21 recognizes vessels and flag states which have successfully met specified safety and quality requirements and regulations when calling at ports in the US.
