Korean Register to share its technology and software

The Korean Register came in an agreement with the National Technical University of Athens and inked an MoU in order to share specialist technology and software with the students of the School Naval Architecture & Marine Engineering.

Indian Register of Shipping takes the helm of IACS

The IACS Council held its 79th session (C79) in Busan, South Korea, last week, where it marked the conclusion of the Korean Register’s Chairmanship. From 1st July 2019, Mr. Arun Sharma, Executive Chairman of the Indian Register of Shipping, took the helm of IACS. 

KR authorized to deliver statutory services to Bangladesh

Korean Register classification society announced that it has signed an agreement with the government of Bangladesh, to deliver services on behalf of the Bangladeshi flag administration, carrying out vessel surveys and issuing certificates in accordance with international conventions.
