Kongsberg has signed an agreement with MEXMAR, for installing a new integrated ‘Full Picture’ technology on the Platform Supply Vessel, SEACOR Maya, focused on decreasing CO2, NOx and SOx emissions and reducing operating costs through reduced fuel consumption.
Kongsberg Maritime has been awarded an Engineering, Procurement, Construction and Installation contract for an integrated vessel solution with Flensburger Schiffbau-Gesellschaft, for a LNG-fueled RoPax ferry of French company Brittany Ferries.
Yara and Kongsberg have joined forces to build the “YARA Birkeland”, the world’s first fully electric and autonomous container ship, with zero emissions which s expected to be capable of performing fully autonomous operations from 2020.
