India is moving towards a development, investing heavily in the expansion of its naval and air power across the Indian Ocean, based on its aspiration to enhance the maritime domain awareness and maritime security and New Delhi’s growing anxieties about Chinese inroads in its strategic backyard.
According to National Advisor Bureau Limited (NABL) the project is an underwater train tunnel, that is planned to connect the UAE and the other GCC countries for the first time in India. The project will consist of a subsea Tunnel and an Ultra Speed subsea railway line.
CMA CGM’s containership, CMA CGM Mumbai, crashed into a dock at JNPT in India. The incident took place on Saturday, October 13, while the ship was trying to berth at the port. According to international sources, a problem in the steering system led to the collision. The ship and the dock sustained minor damages.
The video presents Baijnath Melaram’s new offshore crane that facilitates ship recycling in India, without contaminating the water. The 180-feet crane, with a capacity of 150 metric tons, is the only one in India that can reach the Aft of any vessel.
