BP announces $100 million to reduce emissions in its oil and gas operations

BP announced that it has created a $100 million fund for projects that will deliver new greenhouse gas emissions reductions in its upstream oil and gas operations. The Upstream Carbon Fund will provide further support to BP's work generating sustainable greenhouse gas emissions reductions in its operations. Total funds of up to $100 million will be available during the course of the next three years.

IKEA, CMA CGM, GoodShipping Program to test marine bio-fuel oil

IKEA Transport & Logistics Services, CMA CGM, the GoodShipping Program and the Port of Rotterdam will collaborate in a first of its kind partnership to test and scale the use of sustainable marine bio-fuel oil. The test will begin with a bunkering of the marine bio-fuel oil on a CMA CGM container vessel on March 19th. If the pilot is successfully completed, then the intention would be to put the equivalent of at least all of IKEA's containers out of Rotterdam on biofuel.
