American energy major ExxonMobil announced greenhouse gas reduction measures, including a 15% decrease in methane emissions and a 25% reduction in flaring. The company also revealed its intention to improve energy efficiency in refining and chemical manufacturing facilities.
With more people using energy to improve their lives, global demand for energy is expected to climb about 25 percent higher in 2040 than it was in 2015, ExxonMobil said in the 2017 edition of The Outlook for Energy.
Port of Rotterdam Authority has announced that at ExxonMobil,construction has started for the new Hydrocracker,an investment of more than one billion dollars.
