The Danish government has entered into an agreement on CO2 storage with a number of parties, a move that Danish Shipping believes that moves towards the right direction.

Following the fire incident onboard the Scandinavian Star ferry in 1990, a Norwegian support group for survivors of the disaster has criticised the lack of reporting with the IMO as a failure to learn from the tragedy.

Danish innovation project ShippingLab revealed plans to create an internationally recognized platform for testing and validating new fuel solutions that can aid in reducing or eliminating GHG emissions from shipping.
