Fears arose for two seafarers that are missing, after an explosion split a tanker in half on January 10, in Chinese waters.

The 3,900-dwt Mutia Ladjoni that lost contact on November 11, was found drifting between Dobo and Timika in the eastern part of Indonesia. All crew on board have been evacuated.

On November 11 contact was lost with the 3,900-dwt Mutia Ladjoni, after it went adrift off the Aru Islands. Search of the ship - which carries 16 seafarers on board - continues into the week.
