As stated by DNV earlier this day, COSCO shipping and SHI (Samsung Heavy Industries) have received the world’s first D-INF(S) type approvals for their data collection systems.

Bureau Veritas has signed a contract with China State Shipbuilding Corporation, Jiangnan Changxing Shipbuilding and Shanghai Jiangnan Changxing Heavy Industry, for the classification of CMA CGM’s ultra-large LNG containerships, which will be built according to BV rules and under the supervision of BV newbuilding.
