Five major companies to develop ammonia-fueled vessels

Imabari Shipbuilding along with MAN Energy Solutions, Mitsui E&S Machinery, ClassNK, ITOCHU ENEX and ITOCHU Corporation shake their hands and signed an agreement in order to jointly develop vessels equipped with ammonia-fueled engine and achieve net zero emissions. 

Condition based maintenance guidance launched

ClassNK released its CBM Guidelines that explain the revised rules for using Condition Based Maintenance (CBM) in class surveys to promote the use of CBM technology. The revision came into force in January 2020, including not only explanations of the revised rules and how to apply the use of CBM in class surveys.
