The US Coast Guard terminated the voyage of a 35-foot cabin cruiser, after the operator was found boating under the influence of alcohol, Sunday in the Miami River. The station crew terminated the vessel’s voyage due to the operator failing both the field sobriety and Breathalyzer tests.

The master of a Spanish-flagged fishing vessel was charged in court, after more than a tonne of shark fins were found onboard upon detention off Ireland' southwest coast. Meanwhile, a release bond of €335,000 was placed upon the vessel.

Danish authorities detained the Portugal-flagged general cargo ship 'Rix Partner' and arrested its Captain, after he was found affected by alcohol. The ship was stopped in the Great Belt Strait off Denmark, at the late night of April 17th, following communication problems between the navy and the Russian Captain.

Tank vessel operator Sea World Management & Trading, Inc. and Captain Edmon Fajardo were sentenced for maintaining false and incomplete records relating to the discharge of oil and garbage from an oil tanker that was operating off the coast of Texas, according to the US Department of Justice.

The cargo of explosives onboard the Tanzania-flagged cargo ship "Andromeda" that was seized by Greek authorities on January 8, off Crete island was legal, according to the manager of the owner company as cited by local media.

The Hellenic Coast Guard seized the Tanzania-flagged cargo ship 'Andromeda', after it found 29 containers with explosives, detonators and other equipment in Greek waters. The ship was sailing in the sea area of the southern island of Crete, was also carrying eleven LPG tanks, that upon investigation, were found empty.
