The Zeebrugge LNG terminal, operated by Belgium-based gas operator Fluxys, loaded the vessel ‘Yenisei River’ with LNG from the newly commissioned LNG storage tank in late December, marking the start of the long-term contract for transshipments concluded in 2015 with Yamal Trade.
Seven major companies of the energy and maritime sector, signed an agreement in order to develop new projects that can offer to the the production, transport and storage of hydrogen. Through the agreement, companies assist in Belgium’s climate target to reduce CO2 emissions by 80% until 2050.

Affiliates of Qatar Petroleum and the Belgian independent natural gas transport company Fluxys Belgium signed a long-term agreement for LNG unloading services at the Zeebrugge LNG Terminal. The transaction comes after a competitive evaluation process as well as the approval of the Belgian regulators.
