The Rhode Island Marine Archaeology Project and the Australian National Maritime Museum believe they may have solved one of the greatest maritime mysteries with the discovery of 'HMS Endeavour', the first British ship on a voyage discovery to Australia captained by James Cook.

The Australian Government allowed live sheep export ship MV Maysora to load 30,000 sheep and sail. The Maysora is one of a few twin-tier ships that are set to be banned from trading in Australia by the Australian Maritime Safety Authority. RSPCA did not welcome this as it has not seen information, photos or footage from observers on board the ships.

Surrey Satellite Technology Ltd. confirmed the successful launch of two satellites, launched into a 580km sun-synchronous orbit onboard the PSLV launch vehicle, which are expected to ease monitoring of marine environment and provide direct radar ship detection information.
