Swiss UAV technology company Sulzer Schmid and artificial intelligence specialist NNAISENSE teamed up to develop an artificial intelligence engine to automatically detect rotor blade damages on wind turbine. The initial version will be able to flag all areas of concern on any given damaged blade.

The cooperation seeks to deliver the first generation of real time fatigue monitoring system driven by AI.
Aberdeen’s Oil & Gas Innovation Centre has invested £300,000 in three new projects, which aim to improve efficiency and reduce costs in the oil and gas industry. The projects include an Intelligent Hydrate Tool, a new remote monitoring and analytics system and a flow control device to identify changes in fluids.
